[ Size ] Blade length 68.1cm (2 shaku 2 sun 4 bu 7 rin), sori 1.7cm (5 bu 6 rin), moto-haba 3.04cm, moto-kasane 0.54cm, saki-haba 2.40 cm, saki-kasane 0.46 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 671.5g , shirasaya length 98cm, koshirae length 97cm

[ Period ] Muromachi, second half of.
[ Province ] Mino "美濃"

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is wide. Kasane is ordinal. High shinogi-suji and moderate sori attached. Chû-kissaki extende form.
Engraving : (omote) koshi-hi (ura) futa-suji-his.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are taka-no-ha. Saki shallow kurijiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Ô-itame-hada mixed. Jinie attached. Shirake-utsuri come to be appeared on the surface.
Hamon : Gunome-midare. Togari-bas mixed.
Boushi : It runs in midare-komi. Komaru form. Saki is haki-kake shape.

[ Hgihlight ] Kanemoto was a swordsmith of the Mino school of the late Muromachi period. It is a famous school, considered to be the twin of Kanesada.This work is thought to be by the later Kanemoto. It has inherited well the style of Sanbonzugi of Kanemoto (Magoroku) the second. The balance of the hand is light for the width of the figure. The Shinogi line is clean and clear. It feels easy to handle.

[ Conditions ] The hilt is made of old shark skin as tsuka-shitaji. No fuchi-gashira, tsukamaki attached. The lacquered scabbard has a few small areas of peeling paint. But it is generally good.
