The influence of Norishige, Ko and other predecessor swordsmiths in the Etchu region, such as Koshu, can be seen in the style of this work, which also incorporates Soshu-den. This work has forged surface with itame grain mixed with wood grain and changing grained patterns appeared surface, with a thickly nie attached jigane and a chikei appeared, and in addition, the colour is slightly blackened and the grained surface is characterized as if it were from the northern part of Japan. The blade also has a lot of work in it, with a well-nie attached, changing blade. The length of the blade is over 2 shaku 4 sun on the top of a large polished blade.
