[ Size ] Blade length 77.1cm (2 shaku 5 sun 4 bu 4 rin), sori 2.4cm (7 bu 9 rin), moto-haba 3.34cm, moto-kasane 0.72cm, saki-haba 2.37 cm, saki-kasane 0.58 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 1,003g , shirasaya length 106cm
[ Period ] Showa "昭和" 46 (1971)
[ Province ] Saga "佐賀" prefecture

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Kasane is relatively thick. High sori attached. There are few diifferences between moto-haba nad saki-haba. Chû-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are ô-suji-kais and keshô. Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. A little notare pattern appeared. Ko-gunomes and ko-chô-ji-bas mixed. Ashis and yôs appeared.
Boushi : It runs in midare-komi. Saki turns in sharp.

[ Highlight ] Hizen Kuni Yasunori "肥前国保則", whose real name was Motomura Yasuhiro "元村保広". He is a swordsmith from Saga Prefecture who made his swords around the late Showa period. According to the list of names, there are annual works from 1975, 1977, 1978, etc. However, this work has an even earlier date of 1971. As in this work, the name "Hizen Province Yasunori" is cut in Kanji. There is also a work with a two-character inscription, "Yasunori" (e.g. "保則"). Long and sturdy, with a hand-held feel. This is a custom-ordered sword with a dedication signature.
