[ Size ] Blade length 53.8cm (1 shaku 7 sun 7 bu 5 rin), sori 1cm + α (3 bu 3 rin), moto-haba 2.75cm, moto-kasane 0.64cm, saki-haba 1.93 cm, saki-kasane 0.45 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 451g , shirasaya length 78cm
[ Period ] Muromachi, end of.
[ Province ] Mino

[ Feature ]
Form : Sinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. High sihongi-suji attached.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are o-suji-kais. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Grained patterns come to be appeared on the surface. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Ko-gunomes, ko-notare and sharp form blade mixed. Nioi-kuchi is clear or distinctive. Ko-nie attached. Sunagashis and tobi-yakis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in midare-komi. Saki has sharp form.

[ Highlight ] Ujifusa Seki-ju is said to have been the son of Seki Kanefusa, a swordsmith who made swords in Seki, Mino, around Bunki (1501-1504) and is considered to be a parent of Gon-no-Shosho Ujisada and Wakasa-no-kami Ujifusa. The sword bears signatures such as 'by Ujifusa Seki-ju' and 'Ujifusa'. The sword has a brilliantly varied, unruly blade pattern with a strong nioi and a clear, bright, sunagashi finish.

[ Conditions ] There is a 1.5 cm natural forge crack on the back shinogi-ji, minor rust and flaws, but not enough to hinder appreciation. The sword has a new shira-saya (white scabbard).

[ Attachments ] Habaki( suaka-ji, single), shirasaya, bag of shirasaya and NBTHK kicho paper (5th Nov. Showa 36(1961)).
