[ Size ] Blade length 84.8cm (2 shaku 7 sun 9 bu 8 rin), sori 3.8cm (1 sun 2 bu 5 rin), moto-haba 3.78cm, moto-kasane 0.82cm, saki-haba 2.87 cm, saki-kasane 0.67 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 1,340g , shirasaya length 119cm
[ Period ] Showa 47(1972)
[ Province ] Toyama prefecture

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Mihaba is wide. Kasane is thick. High sori attached. Chu-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yaurimes are o-suji-kais and kesho. Saki is shallow kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Gunomes midare. Cho-ji-bas mixed. Ashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in shallow midare-komi form. It turns in komaru shape.

[ Highlight ] Tanaka Yasuhiro, whose real name was Tanaka Hisayoshi, was a swordsmith who made swords in Kamishinmachi, Yatsuo-machi, Nei-gun, Toyama Prefecture. There are annual works from Showa 47, 48, 51 and 54(1972, 1973, 1976 and 1979). He went by the name Ryubanshi and specialised in making swords with a sturdy and majestic appearance.
This work is a long sword of nearly 2 shaku 8 sun with a wide, thick blade, high sori attached, and is characterised by its well-grained iron and bright jinie.
