[ Size ] Blade length 69.08cm (2 shaku 2 sun 8 bu 0 rin), sori 1.82cm (6 bu and some), moto-haba 3.08cm, moto-kasane 0.58cm, saki-haba 1.99 cm, saki-kasane 0.39 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 685g , shirasaya length 93.5cm
[ Period ] Edo, beginning of.
[ Province ] Hizen

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. High shinogi-suji attached. Relatively high sori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are kiri. Saki is ken-gyo. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Rich jinie attached.
Hamon : Chu-suguha. Shallow notare attached. Ko-gunomes and ko-ashi appeared. Deep nioi-kuchi appeared. Bright ko-nie attached.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Form is ko-maru. Saki has shows hakikake state a little.

[ Highlight ] Tadahiro II was the eldest son of Tadayoshi I and was called Heijuro. When his father died at the age of 61 in Kan'ei 9, he was only 19 years old, but the members of his family cooperated and created swords from the following year (Kan'ei 10) are still extant. He received the title of Omi Daijo in Kan'ei 18 and left many created swords until his death in Genroku 6 at the age of 80. This sword is a typical example of the style of Omi Daijo Tadahiro, who inherited the style of Tadayoshi I. The straight blade is shallow and curved, with a deep, slightly boiling, and brilliantly burnished blade.
