First generation Kunisuke's children (e.g. Musashi-no-kami Kunitsugu, second generation Kawachi-no-kami Kunisuke ("Naka-Kawachi"), Higo-no-kami Kuniyasu, Ise-no-kami Kuniteru) were also good at swords making. The family and school were flourished.

This is rare yari, which was created by first generation Kawachi-no-kami Kunisuke. The tension and consciousness of protection can be felt by its form. It has magnificent clear ji-bas.

On the book "Shin-tos kan-sho-roku (the appreciation records of Shin-tos)" (published in Tenmei 3(1783) by MINOURA Yoshitaka), he referred first generation Kawachi-no-kami Kunisuke and mentioned :
" All of the swordsmiths of this school, they are good at creating Yaris, such as"Sankaku-ho Ho-zo-in", "Chidori ju-monji" and "Sasa-ba-gata", etc. Their forms, distribution of materials are perfect. It was well known fact that at the experimental cutting test, they succeeded high points". It was understandable that he was known as a master of Yari making. Please appreciate the yari on your own hands.
