[ Size ] Blade length 30.1cm (9 sun 9 bu 3 rin), sori 0.4cm (1 bu 3 rin), moto-haba 2.76cm, moto-kasane 0.59cm, mekugi-ana(holes) 2, blade weight 196.5g , shirasaya length 46cm
[ Period ] Muromachi, end of.
[ Province ] Mino (Seki)

[ Feature ]
Form : Hira-zukuri. Mihaba is relatively wide. Kasane is ordinal. Extended length, a little saki-zori attached ko-wakizashi form.
Engraving : Both on front and back, there are bo-hi grooves.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Part by part, there are some changes. Jinie attached. Shireke-utsuri appeared.
Hamon : In gunome, gunome-choji, arrow end-notch shape blade, mixed. Ash and yo appeared. Nie attached.
Boushi : It shows notare-komi shape. Saki is ko-maru form. It tempered long toward below.

[ Highlight ] Kanemichi was the ninth grandson of Shizu Kaneuji, who moved from Mino to Yamashiro in the Eiroku (some say Bunroku) era. He was the father of four brothers of the Mishina school, which later flourished in Kyoto, including Iga-no-kami Chikamichi, Izumi-no-kami Raikinamichi, Tanba-no-kami Yoshimichi and Etchu-no-kami Masatoshi. This work has a wide body with an extended length, itame-hada with a bright and brilliant blade.
