[ Size ] Blade length 39,3cm (1 shaku 2 sun 9 bu 7 rin), sori 0,7cm (8 bu 9 rin), moto-haba 2,95cm, moto-kasane 1,80cm, saki-haba 1,98 cm, saki-kasane 0,43 cm, mekugi-ana(holes) 2, blade weight 343,5g , shirasaya length 58cm
[ Period ] Edo, first half of. Around Shô-ô "承応"
[ Province ] Settsu

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is relativel wide compared with blade length. Kasane is thick. There is a difference between moto-haba and saki-haba. Shallow sori attached. Chû-kissaku, a little shortend tsumaru form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are ô-suji-kais. Saki is ha-agari, kengyô. Two holes.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Nagare-hada mixed. Fine jinie attached.
Hamon : It runs in sugu. Yakidashi is long. In ko-notare, gu-no-me mixed. Rich nie attached. Sunagashis appeared. Nioi-kuchi is distinctive.
Boushi : It runs in sugu, then turns in togari-gokoro. Sakis shows frequent hakikakes.

The sword was created by Ô-saka first generation Tanba-no-kami Yoshimichi who was second or third son of Kyô first generation Tan-ba-no-kami Yoshimichi. Ô-saka first generation Tanba-no-kami Yoshimichi was following his father and known as very good at sudare-ba hamon. In the book titled Arami mei-zukushi kô-shû "新刃銘尽後集"(newly created swords directory latter part), he was honoured as a master swordsmith who almost equivalent to Kyô- Tanba. (link) Ô-saka first generation Tanba-no-kami Yoshimichi was born in Keichô 3(1598). He was called MISHINA Kin-emon. He moved from Kyô(or Miyako), and it was said that he was accredited as Tanba-no-kami later. There is a sword which shows his 70 years old signature in Kanbun 7(1667). In shinogi-zukuri ko-wakizashi form, there is a differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. There is no kiku-mon. Hamon tempering width is wide, it is nie-deki notare-midare. Sword has magnific energic sudare-bas, which is not too much elaborated, in natural taste.
