[ Province ] Musashi "武蔵"

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Relatively high shinogi-suji attached. There are some differences between moto-haba and saki-haba. Shallow sori attached. Chu-kissaki form.
Nakago : Suri-age. Machi has been advanced. Nakago-saki has been cut.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached. On shinogi-ji, masame patterns come to be appeared obviously.
Hamon : Nioi based gunome, ko-cho-ji-bas mixed. Ko-ashi appeared.
Boushi : It runs in midare-komi. Saki shows tsuki-age form. It turns a little deep.

Koshirae : Kuro-ishime-ji-nuri-zaya uchigatana koshirae ; tsuba : aoi-mokko shape (shakudo, nanako-ji, gold iroe) ; fuchi, kabuto-gane, saya-kuchi, kasiwa-ba and ishi-zuki (shakudo, gold iroe) ; menuki : design of dragon (shakudo, katachi-bori, gold iroe)

Highlight ]
Yoshikado "吉門" is a swordsmith from the Seki-Zenjo "関・善定" school of swordsmithing in Mino, his home province, and received the Echizen-no-kami in the Kan'ei era, and moved to Edo after the Kan'ei 19 (1642). He is known to have made swords in Senshu, and is said to be the 13th generation of the Sakao Zenjo "坂尾善定" family. This work has a slender and graceful appearance with high shionogi. Well forged ko-iteme forging, nioi based ko-moyo midarebas tempered. Masame pattern on shinogi-ji have a characteristic shape like running water. This sword has a calm atmosphere. It is accompanied by an Ishime lacquered scabbard with shakudo-nanakoji metal fittings.

[ Conditions ] It has a very slight cloudiness, but is generally fine enough to be preserved and appreciated in its current state. The koshirae is also excellent.
