[ Size ]Blade length 63.96cm (2 shaku 1 sun 1 bu 1 rin), curvature 1.21cm (4 bu 0 rin), motoh-haba width 3.01cm, moto-kasane 0.72cm, saki-haba 1.88cm, saki-kasane 0.40cm, one megugi hole, blade weight 641g, total length of shirasaya white scabbard 91cm.

[ Province ] Yamashiro

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Relatively high shinogi-suji attached. There are some diffrences between moto-haba and saki-haba.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais and kesho. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained. Some changes mixed. Jinie attached.
Hamon : It starts in sugu shape. Gunome-midare. Nie attached well. Kin-sens and sunagashi appeared frequently.
Boushi : It starts in sugu shape. It turns at saki which has haki-kake form.

[ Highlight ] Nobuyoshi Shinano-no-kami was one of the Kyoto Gokaji, the first being active in Kyoto mainly around Meireki and the second around Enpo. He took the surname Fujiwara and later Minamoto. This work has a slightly high shinogi-suji and a beautifully curved form, with a well-worked and dense skin from the base and tip, where itame grain can be seen clearly, and a bright, well nie attache alternating grain pattern with gold streaks and sunagashi, with a beautifully haki-kake boushi.
