[ Feature ] [ Highlight ] The inscription on the scabbard reads, ‘Created by Muneshige of Chikushu, on a lucky day in August of the year of the Showa 60th year. Blade length: 2 shaku 5 sun. Muneshige is a fellow disciple of Muneyoshi. This sword is an excellent example of modern swords.’This sword was carefully crafted to order for Tadao Fujimura. It is a long sword with a width of just over 2 shaku 5 sun and a strong forged surface, with a beautiful wavy blade pattern and a well-defined blade edge.Muneshige (Muneshige) was born in 1942, originally named Kojo Shigeaki, and was a disciple of Munehiro, making him a brother disciple of Muneshige's son, Sou Tsutomu. This sword is a masterpiece that clearly shows the characteristics of the renowned Sou school, and was made with Masamune in mind, making it a sword of high aesthetic value. [ Conditions ] There is a very slight chip on the cutting edge. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition. |
