[ Feature ]
The jigane is well-grained and has fine ji-nie. The hamon features a curved pattern intermingled with gunome-eye patterns, with ashi extending into the blade. The boushi hamon tip is slightly pointed and curves back.

[ Highlight ] Kiyofusa Yamaguchi, born in Shōwa 7 and also known as Takeshi Yamaguchi, is a swordsmith from Iwate Prefecture. He created swords under Masamine Sumitani and is an ungraded swordsmith who continues to explore the boundless mysteries of the jigane, particularly in the style of the Kamakura-period Ichimonji. He took his father’s name—who was a swordsmith—and uses it as his signature. This piece is charming, featuring a curved hamon with interlocking eyes and foot patterns that harmonise beautifully with the jigane.

[ Conditions ] Excellent.

[ Attachments ] Paulownia box.
