[ Size ] Blade length 52.11cm (1 shaku 7 sun 2 bu 0 rin), sori 1.51cm (5 bu 0 rin), moto-haba 2.87cm, moto-kasane 0.66cm, saki-haba 1.94 cm, saki-kasane 0.43 cm, mekugi-ana(hole) 1, blade weight 505.5g , shirasaya length 78cm
[ Period ] Edo, middle of.
[ Province ] Hizen

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Clean sori attached. Chu-kissaki a little extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are kiri. Saki is kengyo. One hole.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Fine jinie attached. It shows fine-grained surface.
Hamon : Sugu-ha. Nioi-kuchi becomes very distinctive against ji-gane. Around mono-uchi area, it appears more deep nioi. Totally nie attached.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. It truns in ko-maru form.

[ Highlight ] Omi Daijo Tadahiro (Tadahiro II) was the eldest son of Tadayoshi I. His name was Heisakuro, and he received the title of Omi Daijo in Kan'ei 18. He was only 19 years old when his father Musashi Daijo died, but with the generous support of his father's students, he died at the age of 80 in the 6th year of the Genroku era (1688-1704) without losing the family name. This work is a well-made wakizashi with a straight blade, which is a speciality of the swordsmiths.
