Form : Hira-zukuri. Iori-mune. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Fukura becomes to be fewer curveture kareru state.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are katte-sagari. Saki is kuri-jiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Mokumes mixed. Jinie attached. Midare-utsuri come to be appeared.
Hamon : Ko-notare, gunomes mixed. Ko-nie attached. Sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Saki returns somewhat pointedly..

Brown Ishime-nuri scabbard, tanto: Shell-weed design, menuki (carved in shakudo), peony arabesque design, assorted metal fittings (sword mounts: silver), family crest design, Warikougai (silver).

[ Highlight ] This is a short sword attached to a short sword arrangement dating from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period. The silver metal fittings with peony arabesque, the carefully decorated kiriba and shitodome, and the ishime-nuri scabbard with peony leaves, suggest that the sword was passed down from generation to generation, and that it was protected with these ornaments at some point.

The inscription book mentions two swordsmiths who were inscribed with the character " Sada ": Senjuin from the Bunpo period and Bizen from the Teiwa period. The latter is described as being "under the name of Sada, it may be cut", but the inscription on this sword name of Sada" but "by Bishu Osafune Sada-saku", which is interesting material that leaves room for consideration of the possibility that a Bizen swordsmith with a "Sada" one-character inscription existed.

[ Conditions ] Slightly worn, but the polish is in good condition.
