[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, slightly wide body, thick base, deep curvature, difference in width between base and tip, and medium cutting edge.
Nakago : the blade has a raw nakago tang, large file marks, a file finish, a tip with a slight curve, three mekugi holes, one of which is a modest mekugi, and a 1-sun machi-okuri offset.Jigane : it has a large itame-hada, ji-nie, chi-kei, and variations in iron.
Hamon : it is mutered with cho-ji midare, cho-ji-ha, ashi and yo, with small nie and gold lines and sunagashi.
Boushi : the boushi hat is midare-komi flame shape.

[ Highlight ] This sword has a blade length of just over 2 shaku 7 sun, and was originally a long sword with a blade length of over 2 shaku 8 sun and a long tang. It is a superb piece with a well-grained, large itame-hada (flat grain) pattern with well-grained iron, a deep, rich blade with well-defined ashi and yo, and a beautiful sunagashi with small nie and kin-sen gold lines. Miyazaki Kunishige "e.g. 國重" was also known as Miyazaki Mokichi, and signed his works as Kunishige "e.g. 国茂".He was a swordsmith in Iwami during the late Edo period, around the time of the Bunkyu era, and is said to have been active as a swordsmith for the Ikoma family. There is a sword with the signature ‘Seki-shu Yajima Fujiwara Kunishige’. This sword has a signature for the client, Kurooka Yasunori, and is known to have been made during the Ansei era, making the signature a valuable historical item.

[ Conditions ] There are some minor flaws, but overall it is in excellent condition.

[ Attachments ] Habaki( suaka-ji, silver foiled, single), shirasaya, bag of shirasaya and NBTHK tokubetsu hozon paper (issued on 15th Dec. Reiwa 5(2023)).
