[ Size ] Total lenght of kogatana 21,8cm, blade length 12,8cm (4 sun 2 bu 2 rin), moto-haba 1,24cm, moto-kasane 0,27cm, blade weight 18,8g , shirasaya length 24,6cm
[ Period ] Edo, later half of
[ Province ] Satsuma

[ Feature ]
Form : Kogatana-machi is not so remarkable. A little long kogatana form.
Nakago : -
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached.
Hamon : Notare midare. Rich nie attached. Kinsens and sunagashis appeared. Midare-komi.
Boushi : Hôju at the top. Flame shape.

Hôki-no-kami Masayoshi was born Kyôhô "享保"18 (1733). He was a child of second generation Ijichi Masayoshi. He succeeded third generation Masayoshi. After he was appointed Hôki-no-kami, he changed his name to Masayoshi "正幸". He was one of representing sword-maker in Satsuma shin-shin-tô swordsmith as same as OKU Motohira. His deceased year was Bunsei "文政" 1(1818), 86 years old.

[ Highlight ] A little longer shape. Files kiri-yasuri are preserved very fine. Dyanamic nie attached. Hamon is so distinctive, kinsens and sunagashi appeared.

[ Conditions ] It has already polished recently. Both kogatana and shirasaya are in excellent conditions.
