[ Size ] Blade length 58,4cm (1 shaku 9 sun 2 bu 7 rin), sori 1,8cm (5 bu 9 rin), moto-haba 3,18cm, moto-kasane 0,50cm, saki-haba 2,23 cm, saki-kasane 0,44 cm, mekugi-ana(holes) 2, blade weight 596,5g , shirasaya length 83,5cm
[ Period ] Edo, first half of
[ Province ] Settsu
Kunisuke

[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Mihaba is wide. Kasane is ordinal. There is diffrence between moto-haba and saki-haba. Slightly saki-zori attached. Chû-kissaki form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is ha-agari, kurijiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached. Fine chikei appeared.
Hamon : Yakidashi runs in sugu. It runs in notare-tone, gunomes and chô-ji mixed. Nioi-kuchi is clear. Ashis appeared. As nioi based, konie attached well. Sunagashis and yubashiri appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu. Saki turns in ko-maru.

[ Highlight ]
White bright shinging konie attached. Notare-midare hamon which mixed gunomes and kobushi-gata chô-ji is so gorgeous.
Kawachi-no-kami Kunisuke was a pupil in HORIKOAWA Kunihiro, then he moved to Ô-saka. There were some generations in same name. This sword was created by second generation Kunisuke. He was known as Naka-kawachi "中河内" (literally inbetween first and third generations) in general.

[ Conditions ] There is 1cm long hike scratch, from hiraji of kissaki (omote side) to ko-shinogi (ditto).

[ Attachments ] Habaki (copper plate suaka-ji, gold foiled, double), shirasaya, bag of shirasaya and NBTHK Tokubetsu hozon paper (issued 14th July Heisei 27(2015))
