In five schools in Yamato (e.g. Senju-in, Taima, Tegai, Hô-shô and Shikkake), Senju-in school was most old. During Tenroku period, they moved from Sen-ju tani valley of Wakakusa-yama mountain to North-West part of Tô-daiji temple Sangatsu-dô. The swordsmith group who worked in the place was known as Senju-in school. It was said that there were master swordsmiths, such as Yukinobu or Shigehiro, but, swords with cetain signature had not yet come to discovered. The swords with signature of their school were few. The swords with no signaure are found many.

Even though it is ô-suriage, it attached koshi-zori. The elegant form is magnific as well.
