[ Feature ]
Form : Shinogi-zukuri. Iori-mune. Shinogi is relatively high. Both mihaba and kasane are ordinal. Saki-zori attached. Chû-kissaki extended form.
Nakago : Ubu. Yasurimes are suji-kais. Saki is kuri-jiri. One hole.
Horimono : There are futa-suji-"hi"s pair of grooves both on omote and ura side.
Jigane : Itame-hada. Mokumes mixed. More or less hada-tatsu. Sumi-hada appeared. Shirake-utsuri-tatsu.
Hamon : In sugu-ha tone. Hotsure-gokoro, ko-ashis appeared. Nie attached. Fine sunagashis appeared.
Boushi : It runs in sugu, then turns in komaru. Sakis has a little haki-kake.

Mihara school was one of most old swordsmith group who had longest history in Bingo province, where known place for its production of irons. Su-e Mihara was a name of the Bingo Mihara swords which created from middle to end of Muromachi period. This sword shows sumi-hada on mokumes mixed itame-hada jigane. Suguha hamon attached nie with hoture-gokoro. These characteristics are convinced the attribution to Su-e Mihara school. Its ubu form represents the characteristics of historical features.


[ Conditions ] Around the monouchi, there is tiny ha-kobore. At ki-ssaki, there is very tiny chipping. There are a few small rusts and hi-kes but it is possible to preserve and appreciate as it is.
