[ Period ] Heisei
[ Province / Prefecture] Tokyo

[ Feature ]
Form : Mihaba is relatively wide. Iori-mune. Lengthy kogatana.
Jigane : Ko-itame-hada well grained. Jinie attached. Nie-suji appeared.
Hamon : Ko-notare. Ko-gunomex mixed. Konie attached. Kinsen appeared. Ko-ashis and yô appeared.
Boushi : It runs in hakikake. Flame form.

Swordsmith YOSHIWARA Kuni-ie has secular name YOSHIHARA Sôji. He was born on 17th February Shôwa 20(1945). He lives in Katsushika ward, Tokyo. He learend under his grand father Kuniie, who was second son of YOSHIWARA Masazane. He was honored at 2nd Shinsaku-meitô-ten exhibition as doryoku-shô prize. Since then, he was awared every time. He was awarded such as Mainichi-shibun-shô award, Meiyo-kaichô-shô award, Bunka-chô chôkan Director general of the Agency for Cultural Affairs and other many awards. He offered his sword for the dedication of Ise jingû new shrine.

[ Highlight ] Well grained ko-mokumehada. Brightly shinning several nie sujis. Bright nioikuchi notare. Ko-gume mixed. Kinsen appeared hamon.
