[ Period ] In early half of Kamakura

[ Province ] Satsuma

[ Feature ]
Form: Shinogi-tsukuri, maru-mune, mihaba is relatively narrow, kasane is normal. A difference between moto and saki haba. Shinogi is high. Deep koshizori, saki is fushi-gokoro. ko-kissaki.
Nakago : Suriage, yasurime unknown. Saki kurijiri. Two holes.
Jigane : Itame-hada runs slowly. Fine jinie attached. Chikei appeared. A little shirake-gokoro.
Hamon : Hoso-sugu-ha, frayed ha-buchi in fine. Nioi-kuchi urumi-gokoro. Konie attached well. Kisen and sunagashi appeared.
Boushi : It turns in komaru with sugu, small midarekomi.

The school Naminohira in Satsuma, it was started by Masakuni, who moved from Yamato, then lived in Naminohira, Taniyama, in Satsuma during later Heian period. His son was Yukiyasu, then, they continued to forge the swords till end of Edo period. In their works, the swords which made before Nan-bokusho period called Ko Namino hira.

[ Highlight ]
It resemble to Yamato school but nioikuchi is bleared, jigane has adhesive softness, the sword has the characteristics of Ko Namino hira. It is tastefull.

[ Condition ] There are some rust feeling in jigane at hamachi both front and back. A small tips 24cm above habaki on the jigane of haki-omote.

[ Accessories] Shitagai Syakudo-ji, Uwagai Shakudo-ji gold foiled double habaki, shirasaya, sac for shirasaya and NBTHK Hozon paper.
