A clear color, a simple handle are the characteristics of the Aizu cotton.
It is started from Aizu feudal lord duke Ujisato Gamo having encouraged cultivation of cotton and the cotton textile as one of economic development.
It is a textile owning the tradition of about 400 years in Aizuwakamatsu-shi, Fukushima.
It is said that Byakko-tai and Dr. Hideyo Noguchi used it habitually.
Thick, and the good-quality cotton with the luster has dignified taste with simplicity.
It is casual cloths, so we recommend to use as bag for Shirasaya or as a tool-bag for the practice of Iai and the theatrical combat.
Two sided flannel wick with thickness is added, and you can keep swords very safely.
